Sharing God's love at the Lincoln Memorial

I sure am missing these goobers but am so excited of their witness this morning in Washington, DC. I heard the heat was pretty bad, but they endured and were able to witness through puppets and drama on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. How awesome is that!?! I know God is truly working in the lives of these kids. It's evident in their testimony and lives. What an awesome God we serve!! Next on the agenda, VBS in McLean, Virginia. They will be performing and teaching VBS like they did at Sunnyside earlier in the month. Please join me in prayer as these kids and leaders share Jesus. Pray for open doors, open hearts, and open ears so that all may hear the Good News. Pray that God will lead, guide, and direct them in all they do this week so that lives may be changed. Also, please pray for their safety as they travel.

My prayer: Lord, I am feeling fearful today. Life seems to be uncertain and out of control. I recall that the Bible tells me "Perfect love casts out fear" You alone are Perfect Love, so would you please cast out the fear I feel and replace it with confidence in your sufficiency? Psalm 121 tells me that You never slumber or sleep, so I will trust You to take care of me-moment by moment, day by day. Amen
