So sorry to be gone for so long

Hello again, remember us? Yes, it's been a while and I truly apologize for the absence of posts. We've been very busy. Where do I start?

Well, we really didn't do a major performance for the holidays. We did help our children's choir with theirs'. It was lots of fun and we did realize the kids can actually have speaking parts with their puppets. They did awesome.

Then, we did a couple of nursing home performances through Christmas. 

Next, we did a new production, of Creation Crawler. That took some time. We made some new stage props and added a sunken ship. 

We also performed for our annual Easter Egg Hunt and a preschool performance.

I'll share more from these performances in my upcoming posts.

Our Father's Place at First Broad Street UMC

What a blessing we received by being able to take our 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. The puppeteers had planned on doing some quartet songs, and at the last minute, we decided to bring our animal puppets. The animals were a huge hit. For our last song, we shared some animal puppets with the worshipers and let them perform with us. It was so much fun. God truly blessed us by letting us be a part of this ministry.

Trunk of Treat Performance

Trunk or Treat 2014 has come and gone. The weather was horrible, but the fellowship was wonderful. What a blessing it was for the team to perform for the kids. The program that was planned was quickly changed to accommodate the new set-up. The puppeteers had originally planned for a black-light performance, but when the Trunk or Treat was moved indoors to our Family Life Building, plans changed, and lights could not be turned out. God was in control and truly blessed them with a wonderful and uplifting program. Here are some pictures for you...

Trunk or Treat preparations

Well it's been a very busy weekend for the GLO team. The kids worked yesterday making props and costuming puppets for Sunnyside Baptist Church's annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 31. And today after church, we had an all day practice. Can I just say these kids are awesome!!! All the parts were assigned and songs were choreographed and practiced. They worked so hard and all seemed to have a wonderfully fun time with very little whining! A huge plus!!!!! 

 Also, as a follow up on our cross of lost people that we have been praying for...2 people now have a red heart on their names because of salvation decisions!!! More names have been added and we will continue to lift them to the Lord! 

God is so good! All the time!!!

Fun times at Our Father's Place

We were very excited to worship this afternoon with Our Father's Place at First Broad Street UMC. We took 16 puppeteers down for a time of worship and devotion. The 10-12 grade puppeteers did an awesome job performing 7 songs. We also shared the Wordless Book devotion and presented the mentally challenged adults their very own Wordless Books so that they could share the plan of salvation with their friends. Noah Mintz closed us in prayer. I think everyone that came to our time of devotion can now worship our Lord in a new and fun way. My prayer is they will take their Wordless Books and witness to others because we are all
