Today's reading: 1 Chronicles 7 - 1 Chronicles 9

My Prayer: Lord, today I lift my friends to you. Please be a hedge of protection around them today. Let them feel your presence in a special way today. Comfort those that need comfort and heal those who are not feeling well today. I lift up my special lists of prayer requests that I have been praying for daily. I pray your will be done in each and every request. Amen

Sharing God's Love through Ayudantes de Dios!!

I thought you might like to see pictures of  Darthula Baptist Church's puppet performance in Nicarauga this week.  We used two twin black flat sheets from Wal-mart for $4 each. I sewed a straight seam the length of one side so that they could insert PVC pipe when they got there. Very quick and easy.

God is so good. He always provides! The mission team wasn't really sure what they would be needing, but the sheets worked awesome!

I'll post a link to their church's website so you can follow as the week progresses. I know the puppets were a HUGE hit with the kids! They are having a very blessed time of VBS with these Ayudantes de Dios!

I ask that you lift this group in your prayers that God will keep them safe and use them in mighty ways this week. I pray that hearts, doors, and ears are open to hear the Good News. GLO puppet ministry is truly honored to be a part of helping them take this ministry to this part of the world and share God's love with others!

Day 120 Read the Bible with Me

Today's Reading: 1 Chronicles 5 - 1 Chronicles 6

My Prayer: Lord, I thank you for this day, I thank you for your many blessings, I thank you for just how good you are to me. I am so undeserving. I thank you for my salvation, I thank you for the assurance of my family's salvation. I pray that you will continue to use us as you would to be a testimony for you. Let others see you through everything we say and do and let us give you the honor and glory. Amen.

Best Group of Puppetteers Around

Oh my, GLO Puppet Ministry is off to another busy year. We are officially back in practice mode at Sunnyside Baptist Church.  We have 2 performances that we are working on. We will be performing at all of the Upward games on Saturday, March 1 and then we are having a Youth Sunday night service at Sunnyside on March 16 at 6:00 p.m. that we will be performing at also. I didn't get to make any pictures of practice yesterday. We actually had to split the kids up. The girls worked in the Sanctuary on a black light hand performance for the Sunday night performance, while the boys were in the practice room working on the Upward performance. We've got quite a bit to accomplish in a short amount of time, but I did get a big group picture for you all to see just how awesome they are!! 

We needed a group shot of the kids because Outreach Magazine has asked to do an article on their puppet ministry. We are so honored that they want to write an article and are excited to be able to share how God is working through this ministry with their readers! I'll have to keep you posted on that as well.

Now for the goofy faces:

We are planning on meeting for a time of organization and planning on Wednesday night. We didn't get to meet last week because of the weather here. We actually had snow and had to cancel our Wednesday night services due to the road conditions and cold temperatures. That very rarely happens at Sunnyside! I'll be able to share pictures during the meeting with you all. Be ready for lots of additional posts coming soon as we begin our Arrow Island VBS preparations!

My Prayer: Lord, today I lift the folks that have traveled to Nicaragua to share your word. I pray for the VBS that they are leading. I pray for those doing the puppet ministry. Let them be a witness for you in all that they say and do. I pray that if anyone is lost and doesn't know you as their Lord, that today will be that day! Let them give you all the honor and glory. Amen.

My Prayer: Lord, Thank you for our churches today. I pray that you will be with the pastors and congregations today. Give those teaching and speaking the words that you would have us to hear. Help us to apply what we have learned to our lives so that you may be glorified in all that we do. Amen

My Prayer: Lord, today I lift my parents and others from Darthula Baptist Church traveling to Nicaragua to share your love. I pray that you will give them safe travels to and from. Be with all missionaries today as they continue to spread the Gospel to others. Amen.
